3rd Home this Year
I've worked with Raina Gabbard for over 10 years to buy and sell multiple properties. She has never let me down. Raina's professionalism and knowledge speaks for itself. Her excellent communication takes you through the buying and selling steps in a logical and thoughtful way. Raina listens, evaluates, and carries through the sale - start to finish - with no details left undone. She gives you a realistic evaluation of the marketplace so you can be confident if you are buying or selling. I've learned a lot over the years about the importance of home maintenance and having a clean, neat, working presentation to sell your home at it's best. Face it, buyers don't want to buy a mess unless they are looking for a fixer upper. Most buyers want to have a home move-in ready because as we all know moving is a lot of work. Move-in ready is clean flooring, everything dusted, clean working light fixtures, painted, scrubbed and all repairs completed. The yard needs to be mowed, sidewalks shoveled of snow if winter, clean, safe no debris. Speaking of safety, for buyers to qualify for some loans the home must be safe with no tripping hazards, chipped paint, etc. For me personally, I want to sell a clean, nice home that the new buyer is going to love. On the other hand, sellers need to be a step ahead before your home inspection is scheduled. Try to forsee what the inspector will be looking for so that it is not an issue at the time of the sale. Everything must be in working order and the house must be maintained. Raina is a great teacher and you can count on her advice whether you are buying or selling.
