AcreageA friend of mine recommended Raina Gabbard as I asked around for names when it came time to sell my house. I am not a difficult person to deal with, but I do have a few rules. Number one is prompt and thorough follow up to my questions. This is usually gauged by a person's reply to my initial contact. I leave a message or call with a specific question and I wait for an answer. Raina’s response was not only immediate, but she had answers to my questions and asked a few of her own, she was interested in my business and not just trying to “seal the deal”. Number two is listening to my needs. I told Raina that I was not wanting to participate in every moment of my sale. I was selling a house I did not want and I just wanted it to be done. Throughout the sale she updated me as a matter of course rather than with each development. I am sure if I requested a blow by blow accounting she would have been equally accommodating. And third- above all be honest. I might not like your information or your opinion, but I value it. I never had to dig for Raina’s take on the situation. She was straight at every turn. For those reasons alone I would recommend Ms. Gabbard and her company Homes N Boise Realty, but let me tell you a little more. Raina prepared my house, my paperwork, my property, and my mental state before we put the house on the market. I wanted to rush it, she wanted to do it right. And she was right. I had offers and a bidding war and a contract in one day. (And believe me this place was not a “sells itself jewel”) one day and we were there. Then we had a chance encounter with the county and a little mix up that was almost 20 years old. Raina went above and beyond. A little paperwork became county meetings, one client became neighborhood contacts, a small fee became engineers and survey teams. At each turn Raina explained, was on top of each step and even was in a position to educate the county. What started as a simple sale with an uninterested client evolved into a hell of lot of red tape. And not once was I at a loss for an explanation on where we were and where we had to go. Long story short I closed on my house with a different buyer (but he was in the bidding on day one so no need to ever put the house back on the market) with a new land plat, and a realtor that was there in ways I never expected. I cannot begin to express my level of respect and my favorable impression of Ms. Gabbard. I have never written a review or a recommendation for a company or a business person. I could not miss this opportunity to do so here!
