You should accompany the inspector to ask questions and receive a written report itemizing any areas of concern. A home inspection is completed to insure you are buying a quality home. If repairs are needed, you can request the seller make them in accordance with the provisions of the sales contract.While a home inspection doesn't quarantee that everything will remain in good working order, it does help you to be an informed buyer.Walk-through the property prior to close of escrow to confirm the propertyis substantially the same as when you made the offer and anyrequested repairs have been completed to your satisfaction.
